itelligence acquires Blueprint for UK success

SAP partner expands footprint with acquisition of Blueprint Management Systems

SAP consultancy itelligence has bolstered its UK footprint by acquiring BusinessObjects partner Blueprint Management Systems.

The firm, which employs 180 staff worldwide and boasts UK revenue of £40m, signed the takeover of Blueprint for an undisclosed sum.

Business analytics solution provider Blueprint, which hit 2011 sales of £8.9m, employs 60 staff.

Justin Brading, managing director of itelligence, said his firm was attracted to Blueprint's mobile, database and cloud expertise, alongside its contacts in the financial, industry and public sectors.

"Our business has gone from strength to strength, so this acquisition illustrates that our appetite for growth is increasing," he said.

"We are very strong globally, especially in the US and Germany, but the UK is still our key economy, and we predict a lot of potential and growth here, proved by this acquisition."

Chris Wigglesworth, chairman of Blueprint, said: "From the very first meeting we had with itelligence, it was clear that bringing the businesses together made perfect sense.

"Becoming part of the itelligence group presents exciting new opportunities for our staff and greatly increases the range of services we are able to offer to our customers."
