Aruba adds Exclusive Networks for NAC channel push
Acquisitive French firm joins Avnet and Mayflex in WLAN vendor's UK distribution crew
Wireless vendor Aruba Networks has added Exclusive Networks to its UK distribution line-up in a bid to deepen its ties with the security channel.
Exclusive joins Mayflex and Avnet in the WLAN player's distributor stable. The Paris-headquartered firm has cited the strength of Aruba's network access control proposition, called ClearPass. Jason Dance, sales director of Exclusive Networks UK, claimed that the BYOD trend will fuel channel sales of the vendor's technology.
"ClearPass fits into any existing or new infrastructure, and that will appeal greatly to our reseller community, many of whom we have helped really focus on the BYOD opportunity," he said. "This partnership with Aruba underlines everything we have been saying about smarter social enterprises and complements the rest of our portfolio."
Aruba's new partner has the task of bringing on board and skilling up an elite band of VARs to tap into the BYOD market opportunity.
Duncan Fisken, EMEA vice president of the wireless specialist, said: "We felt [Exclusive Networks'] in-house facilities, extensive skills and great reseller relationships provide the necessary base to allow us to accelerate our traction in solving our customers' BYOD challenges."
