Bradford goes for distribution triple

NAC vendor adds third distribution partner in the form of TDAzlan

Network access control (NAC) vendor Bradford Networks has signed a partnership deal with TDAzlan, bringing its UK distribution tally to three.

Last July the vendor signed Siracom as its first UK partner, followed by Zycko in May this year.

The vendor claims its partnership with TDAzlan, the enterprise networking arm of Computer 2000, will bring its flexible Network Sentry platform to thousands of HP ESSN partners across the UK, and give them another weapon in securing customers’ BYOD strategies.

Nigel Dunn, Azlan UK director of HP ESSN, said: “The challenges that BYOD brings end-user organisations around security and compliance issues are very considerable indeed. That presents good opportunities for network VARs and integrators to deliver solutions that will ensure all devices on the network can be effectively monitored and managed.

“Bradford Networks’ solutions meet these requirements exactly. This agreement is a perfect fit for Azlan right now and one that opens up considerable new potential. It fits in with our strategy of developing new partnerships with vendors that complement our core portfolio, and enable VARs to meet the most pressing needs of their customers and differentiate their value propositions,” he added.

Dan Haley, chief executive of Bradford Networks, said: “Azlan has an unrivalled reputation for providing network integrators with the educational, technical and sales support required to introduce new solutions and technologies successfully. “We are looking forward to working with Azlan and supporting its efforts to recruit and enable more VAR partners for Bradford Networks in the UK, and subsequently helping both them and us to drive new business development and growth.”

Nick Watson, vice president of HP networking EMEA, said the market presented a significant opportunity. “Bradford is a critical component of our solution set to address the BYOD and mobile security challenges organisations face. We have experienced impressive momentum with the BYOD mobile security suite developed with Bradford, and we look forward to further developing this relationship,” he added.
