Ex-Equanet finance chief Holah joins Comms-care

Steve Holah to sit on the board of support services firm after FD appointment

Third-party services firm Comms-care has snared former senior Equanet exec Steve Holah as its new finance director.

Holah, who will serve on the board of the Cheshire-based firm and report to managing director Ben Davies, arrives from a position at Asda. While working at the grocery giant he was responsible for the acquisition of a global sourcing company for the George clothing operation.

Prior to that he held the finance director role at Dixons-owned VAR Equanet and has also worked as head of commercial finance at DIY retailer Focus Wickes. Davies saluted his new finance head's breadth of experience.

"Steve brings extensive experience and a finance pedigree that spans across multiple sectors, not just information technology," he said. "Steve's appointment is part of our strategy to be truly known as the strategic partner of choice for the IT channel community, and being on a sound financial footing is critical to the success in achieving that."

Holah added: "I am tremendously excited to be joining Comms-care, and I look forward to assisting the business in achieving its ambitious growth plans. I will be working closely with the rest of the executive board to identify ways in which we can improve financial processes that ultimately result in partners receiving enhancements to the service we provide."
