Southern and Midlands resellers targeted with new hire

Distributor Steljes has hired an external key account manager to cultivate its sales in the south and Midlands.

Daniel Johnson (pictured), who will report to the distributor's national sales manager Mark Mason, hails from a Steljes reseller himself – Peterborough-based comms infrastructure VAR Hedley Solutions – where he was audiovisual business manager.

Martine Dodwell-Bennett, sales and marketing manager at Steljes, said Johnson will focus on the distributor's reseller stable in the south as well as the Midlands, with a view to expanding both education and business sector sales.

"We continue to prosper in the education sector and are making substantial inroads in the corporate sector. Johnson has a proven record of success in the UK channel and his appointment will help us to accelerate adoption of our business solutions suite into our key markets," she said in a statement.

Before working at Hedley Solutions, Johnson was a staffer on Epson's professional-AV accounts team.
