Enta, Fujitsu into group distribution deal

Vendor and distributor bullish on reseller hardware opportunity

EntaTech has inked a UK distribution partnership with Fujitsu.

Jon Atherton, vice president of Enta, said the deal would enable the distributor to offer a wide range of Fujitsu kit, including laptops, servers, storage and desktop products.

"Over the past several months we have been looking to partner with a tier-one brand in notebook and server technology, which adopts a like-minded proactive and driven approach to business. As soon as we met with Fujitsu, evaluated their products and understood their growth ambitions, we knew they were an excellent fit," Atherton said in a statement.

The focus, he added, will be on developing new resellers for Fujitsu's corporate Lifebook notebooks, Primergy servers and Eternus storage. The kit will be available online from next month.

Simon Worsfold, channel and enterprise sales director at Fujitsu, said the vendor was ready to extend its reach.

"Fujitsu has enjoyed 18 months of consistent market growth across its whole portfolio," he added.
