Gem picks Damson for sound surfaces

Plum peripherals can complement a range of surfaces

Distributor Gem has inked an agreement with Damson Audio to offer the latter's Cisor BT5 range of speakers.

Anthony Haworth, purchasing director at Gem Distribution, said in a statement that the company wanted to offer new technologies to the retail channel as well as expand the categories it already has.

"Audio is a big focus for us as we move into peak [season] and the signing of Damson will further strengthen our audio offering," he said.

Damson's Cisor speakers are small, Bluetooth-enabled, portable peripherals for connection to smartphones, computers, MP3 players, or any audio source with a 3.5mm jack.

The vendor claims the speakers produce unusually deep, rich, 360ยบ audio that "resonates off any surface" for their tennis-ball size.
