Cohort launches Training Plus

Package will give alumni free access to its engineers for 60 days

Distributor Cohort Technology has extended its training offering by throwing open the doors of its technical assistance centre (TAC) to alumni.

Cohort offers its reseller partners training courses from a number of vendors including Shoretel, Stonesoft, Symantec and Forescout.

Under its new Training Plus package, graduates net free access to Cohort's 24/7 TAC facility for 60 days.

Managing director Grahame Smee said Training Plus marks a break from the status quo by bridging the gap between the training centre and the real world.

"No one else does this," he added. "Typically, you go on a course, you pass it and off you go.

"But sometimes you go out into the real world and it's a bit different. With Service Plus, you have a support contract with our TAC, so when you go out and install or maintain something, you can call it day or night."

Smee said this will allow resellers to start earning professional services revenue more quickly, backed by the safety net of Cohort's engineers.
