Encryption vendor eyes UK growth with partner programme

Vormetric hopes programme will build on the company's 56 per cent year-on-year growth

Encryption vendor Vormetric is looking to "rapidly increase" its market share with the help of its first EMEA partner programme following the company's European launch in June.

The firm is looking to expand in the region following the posting of 56 per cent year-on-year revenue growth for the first half of 2012, which it claims is down to the success of its global partner programme.

Under the programme, aimed at experienced data security VARS, Vormetric will provide its partners with the usual lead generation and deal registration benefits, along with a partner portal launched at the end of August, as well as marketing assistance and tech support.

Paul Ayers, vice president of EMEA sales at Vormetric, said the company's global programme will help it in its quest for UK growth.

He said: "With an existing base of customers we are in position to rapidly grow market share through the channel, especially with demand for data security being escalated by tightening privacy legislations and sanctions in countries throughout EMEA."

Vormetric currently has partnerships with Intellect, MDTel and Total Device, and is looking to expand the base following the programme's launch.
