Ingram appoints Bramwell to head of mobile

Distributor eyes further mobile growth with newly created role

Ingram Micro has continued its telecoms investment with the appointment of Matt Bramwell to the newly created role of head of mobile.

The former account manager at Computer 2000's Brightstart Europe business, and most recently, Data Select, has more than 15 years' experience in the mobile distribution industry.

Bramwell (pictured) hopes to establish a new mobile team in the coming months, as he eyes further growth for the distributor.

"I am very excited about being part of this global company with the potential for phenomenal growth," he said.

"There are some aggressive expansion plans happening right now and I am actively recruiting for various roles."

Mike Farrah, Ingram Micro UK's commercial director, agreed that growth was on the cards for the new mobile division.

He said: "Matt has been appointed to this newly created role to lead our drive in the mobile market and fast-track the expansion of this business unit as we continue our investment in growth segments."
