SSS Group gobbles up e-Warehouse assets
VAR to integrate acquired firm's Oxygen Help Desk into its own offering
IT infrastructure and asset consultancy Specialist Software Services Group (SSS Group) has acquired certain assets of e-Warehouse and its Oxygen helpdesk service.
Reading-based SSS Group, which recently enlisted former Bell CFO Nick Lee to its management team, provides asset management consultancy for large corporate and public sector organisations.
Following the acquisition, SSS Group will fold the Oxygen Help Desk products and code into its own suite of software products that go under the Livingston Platform moniker.
It is also taking over all the acquired business's customer contracts and selected staff, including e-Warehouse managing director Richard Althorpe.
SSS Group chief executive Jason Allaway said: "With the addition of Oxygen, the Livingstone platform is in a position to further develop and progress to be a true end-to-end managed service solution in the asset management industry."
Althorpe added: "The incredible evolution of the asset management industry and the life cycle approach to the market by SSS Group is truly game changing."
