Points mean prizes for Cyberoam partners

UTM vendor launches automated scheme allowing VARs to convert sales to "thrilling" gifts and prizes

Unified threat management vendor Cyberoam is showing its love for the channel with the launch of a reward scheme allowing resellers to cash in points for "exciting gifts and prizes".

Points will be allocated for every sale of the security firm's technology a VAR makes, and a number of promotions will be run over the course of the year offering double or even triple points on certain SKUs. The programme is automated and channel firms can use it on a self-service basis through Cyeroam's partner portal.

The UK is one of the first countries to benefit from the scheme's launch, and one point will more or less equate to a prize value of £1. Once they decide to cash in their chips, VARs can avail themselves of gifts or vouchers up to the value of the points they have accrued.
