Texas ropes in Westcoast
Distributor partners with Texas Instruments' education products as both firms grab STEM advantage
Westcoast is set to help Texas Instruments (TI) grab a larger slice of STEM initiatives in the education and government sectors, after signing a partnership deal.
TI education products have been in the UK market for 20 years, but the deal with Westcoast will give the firm greater access to education technology solutions for maths, finance and science for both institutional and individual purchases.
This includes its TI-84 Plus graphing calculators and TI-Nspire handhelds, which are used by top schools for post-16 education, and the BA II Plus which is used by students and professionals in business, economics and finance.
Alex Tatham, sales and marketing director at Westcoast, said: "Education is an integral part of Westcoast's business. TI have proven technology products in the education space and are well established and respected in the market. We are always seeking to provide new, exciting tools to help our customers serve their clients."
