Ancoris swoops on Google training house

Google partner positions itself as single point of contact to move from legacy platforms to Google Apps

Google partner Ancoris has snapped up Google Apps for Business training outfit Cloud Skills for an undisclosed sum.

Bracknell-based Cloud Skills provides training courses, e-learning tools and migration aids to help organisations move their users to Google Apps.

According to its website, the duo had already worked on joint projects, including one with a Birmingham-based law firm.

The combined entity will offer a single point of contact to move from legacy platforms such as Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, Novell Groupwise and most other mail servers to Google Apps and Gmail, Ancoris said.

Services offered include Google Apps licensing, deployment and migration services, infrastructure and administrator support and training.

"Excellence in training and our change management offering is a vital part of our role as a Google Premier Enterprise Partner," said Ancoris managing director David McLeman (pictured).
