Softcat and Viglen take out top Westcoast prizes

Microsoft summer incentives included £10,000 and a Mini Cooper

Westcoast is presenting resellers Viglen and Softcat with a Mini Cooper and a cheque for £10,000, respectively, for their efforts selling Microsoft product over the summer.

Pictured are Softcat's purchasing manager James Pritchard and operations manager Sarah Jane Sydenham receiving their cheque from Alex Tatham, sales and marketing director at Westcoast (on right).

According to Westcoast, the £10,000 cheque was awarded to Marlow-based Softcat as a result of its leading performance in Microsoft's Wish You Were Here promotion, which ran for two months. Resellers were up for a range of prizes including weekend break and spa day vouchers.

"This week, we are also presenting St Albans reseller Viglen with a brand new Mini Cooper for its efforts in the Microsoft Drive your Renewals promotion, where resellers were awarded tickets for the draw each time they placed a Microsoft renewal through Westcoast," the distributor said in a press statement.

"Congratulations to Softcat and Viglen, and all the other resellers that won prizes."
