Just Lamps celebrates perfect 10
Distributor marks a decade in business
Projector lamp distributor Just Lamps is celebrating its 10th birthday this month.
The company was formed in the UK in 2002 by Marc Murray and Dave Bethell. Staff numbers expanded to 11 within two years, and the pair crossed the Channel to set up a branch office in the Netherlands.
Dave Bethell, managing director of Just Lamps, said in a PR statement: "I would like to thank all our customers, suppliers and staff for their support in helping us reach our first decade. I am really looking forward to the next 10 years."
Today, Just Lamps has offices spread across five continents and revenue exceeding €30m (£24.1m). The company says it believes it is now the world's largest international trade-only distributor of projection lamps for every brand and model of projector and rear-projection television.
It has resellers in 72 countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia. Products are supplied on next-day terms from one of five global warehouses.
To mark its anniversary, the distributor is offering giveaways with orders of 10 lamps every day for 10 days from 10 October. Only certain lamps are included, and all are connected in one way or another with the number 10, the firm said.
"Additionally, there will be a celebratory 10 per cent off 10 Diamond Lamps each day," it added.
