Cura Technical spearheads managed print drive
IT support services provider appoints head of MPS
Technical support provider Cura has created a new role to intensify its push into managed print services (MPS), promoting business development manager Mark Hubbard.
"In this new role, [Hubbard] will be responsible for working with channel partners, resellers and system integrators to increase sales for Cura's range of managed print services, helping users to achieve significant savings," the company said in a PR statement.
"He will also be recruiting additional specialists to further strengthen the team."
Cura said that Hubbard (pictured) has about 24 years of experience in IT and print, including in MPS.
He joined Cura Technical from now-defunct dealer FAF in 2010 as business development manager.
Companies House documents say FAF, a Ricoh and Toshiba dealership founded by Hubbard in 1999, was officially dissolved in 2011.
Hubbard was contacted via PR for further comment but had not responded at press time.
Prior to FAF, Hubbard was a senior sales executive at companies including Interfax and Alto Group.
Cura Technical is based in Essex and specialises in technical support provision to businesses, consumers, manufacturers and resellers.
It partners system integrators, channel partners, outsourcers and facilities management providers to offer IT infrastructure support, print and imaging devices, audiovisual, EPOS and office product support.
