Hampshire VARs link arms for outsourcing push

Deal will see aap³ and Vissensa work together to grab a share of the £18.5bn managed services market

Hampshire-based IT support firms aap³ and Vissensa have forged a collaboration partnership to increase their share of the lucrative outsourcing market.

Southampton-based aap³ and Fleet-based Vissensa claim the deal will allow them to offer a wider range of IT outsourcing options to their customers, with Vissensa leading the development of the new products and services.

Part of the offering will include a SaaS model and cost savings on service management, the two firms claimed.

Carl Nichols, chief commercial officer at aap³, said: “This alliance is a significant step towards providing our customers and the market with a compelling range of solutions and services geared to address many of the issues business faces today.”

Steve Groom, chief executive of Vissensa, added: “We are delighted to be working closely with aap³, whose reputation and business credentials go before them and who will be able to augment many of the products and services Vissensa provides with their own services, allowing a wider market to be addressed through the joint brand.”
