Ambitious SecureData enlists growth guru
New finance director Raj Nagevadia helped grow previous firm into £150m goliath
Security VAR SecureData has hired a finance director with a track record for taking UK firms global.
The Check Point, Juniper and Websense partner is aiming to more than treble its turnover from £15m to £50m over three years after performing an MBO from its South African parent in May.
To help reach this goal, SecureData has bolstered its management team with the appointment of Raj Nagevadia, who helped build the market worth of his previous firm, AIM-listed internet services outfit Group MBT, from £15m to £150m.
In his post as finance director, Nagevadia will work alongside managing director Etienne Greeff, sales director Matt Tomlinson, operations director Andrew Cooke and chairman Neville Davis.
SecureData has hinted it will make several acquisitions to help reach its £50m goal and Greeff listed "hands-on M&A" as one of Nagevadia's areas of expertise.
"He will be a fantastic asset to the company as we embark on our ambitious growth plans," said Greeff.
