Cherry pops out Children in Need keyboard
Peripherals vendor puts up specially decorated Pudsey keyboard for auction to raise money for BBC appeal
Peripherals vendor Cherry is hoping to raise buckets full of money for the BBC Children in Need 2012 appeal with its specially designed Pudsey keyboard.
Decorated with limited-edition laser prints of the well-known bear playing football, flying a biplane and having fun, the keyboard, designed by Devilin Electronics and produced by ZF Electronics (part of the Cherry brand), is up for grabs on eBay.
It is the third version to be produced after fundraising success in 2009 and 2010.
Michael Groom, managing director of ZF Electronics UK, said: "It is always a genuine pleasure to support this very special BBC event in aid of children and young people who are disadvantaged.
"We sincerely hope that the auction goes on to raise a substantial amount of money for the charity – of course, high-value, genuine offers for this unique product as a 'buy it now' will always be welcome to ensure we achieve the most."
The keyboard can be found on eBay here and Cherry hopes to raise as much as possible for a very worthy cause.
