Krome puts in a polished 2012 performance
VAR sees impressive 40 per cent growth in its third year of trading
IT consultancy Krome Technologies has seen turnover shoot up 40 per cent in its third year of trading.
The Surrey-based firm, which was founded in November 2009, hit £11.2m turnover for its third financial year, compared with £6.4m in its inaugural year of trading, and £7.9m in its second year. Profit was not revealed.
Krome hailed 2012 as a successful year, adding HP and Dell accreditation badges to its collection and securing several contracts with new and existing clients.
Also as testament to its growth, the firm has signed a lease on larger premises in Manchester as it looks to grow its presence in the North. The office will be in full operation by the end of the calendar year.
The VAR has increased staff headcount over the past year, as well as investing in training and skills updating for existing staff. It has also embarked on a graduate training programme, taking on four new graduates this year.
Rupert Mills, managing director of Krome, said: "This year we have remained very focused on achieving our business targets, while continuing to improve upon service levels and performance. Following our success last year we initiated several new internal schemes, rewarding and investing in the people who have helped to grow our business and will further contribute to our growth in the years to come. We are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of service and expertise possible [and] our financial growth this year confirms that we are continuing to achieve this."
The ambitious firm is aiming for 25 per cent growth in 2013, Mills said: "2012 has been an exciting year for Krome, with two leading vendor accreditations announced, several new client wins and the development to our team all being a contributing factor to our financial growth this year. We aim to grow by at least 25 per cent year on year, so we are now looking to the future and continuing this trend, with confidence that 2013 will be yet another solid year."
