Gem hopes Transcend partnership will shine

Storage and multi-media vendor signs with distributor to grow market share

Distribution giant Gem has signed a new partnership with storage and multimedia vendor Transcend to help it grow market share.

With Transcend's entire product range set to be available before Christmas, Gem is confident of attracting new business.

Anthony Haworth, purchasing director at Gem, said: "The opportunity to support Transcend’s UK market growth is one that greatly excites us. Partnering with an industry leading brand which has in-house control of production, quality, service, and the ability to quickly adapt to the demands of the market puts us in a strong position to react to the needs of our customers and provide a complete memory solution.”

Rui Pereira, general manager at Transcend was pleased with the partnership.

“We are extremely excited to have such an opportunity to work with Gem. I truly believe that together we will be in a position to further strengthen both our business & brand, but more importantly, Gem’s customers will now have a much wider product portfolio to choose from, without the need to look elsewhere. Gem and Transcend are consistently bringing new and innovative products to the market, and this partnership will offer exactly that.”
