Microsoft partner breaks £20m turnover mark and hires sales director
Cloud services specialist ControlCircle has enlisted a new sales director after breaking the £20m turnover barrier.
Founded in 2001, the Microsoft, Oracle and Citrix partner has featured in various lists of fast-growing tech firms in recent years, and claims sales shot up by 50 per cent in its recently completed fiscal 2012. Profits also rose "strongly", it claimed.
Eyeing further growth, the firm has bolstered its management team with the addition of Matthew Parker, who was previously sales and marketing director at ISP Claranet.
Carmen Carey, chief executive of ControlCircle, said: "Matthew will be a significant asset to our management team, and a key contributor to our two-year growth plan.
"We will also continue our search for dynamic individuals to join us, with experience ranging the spectrum of application development, networking and security, storage and datacentre expertise."
ControlCircle, which is backed by Scottish Equity Partners, bills itself as a managed and cloud services specialist and this year launched an enterprise cloud platform, Hybrix, and monitoring platform, Max3000. It also partners with NetApp and VMware.
