UKFast makes Haye with heavyweight contract win

Manchester hosting outfit signs up boxer's Hayemaker Ltd vehicle as new customer

Hosting specialist UKFast has won a deal to support the website of heavyweight boxer and reality TV star David Haye.

The Manchester-based firm has recently added the boxer's company, Hayemaker Ltd, to its client roster. UKFast claims the company's website has enjoyed a big spike in traffic following Haye's appearance on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, where the boxer finished third.

UKFast chief executive Lawrence Jones said: "We approach our business with athleticism, focusing on speed, strength and achievement. We are proud to support a great British sporting icon in David Haye and look forward to working with him in the future."

Haye (pictured) has formerly held world titles at cruiserweight and heavyweight and has a professional career record of two losses and 26 wins, including 24 knockouts. He announced his retirement from boxing in October last year, having lost his WBA heavyweight crown to Wladimir Klitschko.

But the Bermondsey boxer came out of retirement for a grudge match with fellow Brit Dereck Chisora in July, a fight in which Haye triumphed following a fifth-round stoppage. Haye enjoyed success in the jungle, only being voted out of the ITV show the day before the final, which former EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks won.
