Team Daisy celebrates Mo-mentous achievement
Daisy Group employees raise over £17,000 in Movember charity push
A team of 32 hairy employees from across the Daisy Group network raised thousands of pounds for prostate and testicular cancer research by growing impressive 'taches for Movember.
The team (pictured), captained by chief executive Matthew Riley, raised £17,010 for the cause, boosted by Riley's pledge to match every pound that he raised.
In a statement, Riley said: "Firstly on behalf of the team, I would like to thank all those who donated to team Daisy Mo - the response has been truly amazing!
"The team has done a great job at shunning their razors and it has definitely not gone unnoticed. We have looked 'interesting' and in some cases a bit ridiculous, but we have raised a fantastic amount of money for charity and raised awareness of prostate and testicular cancer."
The team originally set a £5,000 target through unique donations and has been monitoring the donations on its Tash-o-Meter at the company's HQ.
