Update: UKFast moves for Movember

UKFast raises £1,000 to fight prostate cancer and other men's health issues

Hosting provider UKFast has achieved its goal of raising £1,000 this Movember.

This year saw 20 staff members grow moustaches to hit the target of £1,000 – slightly more than last year.

Lawrence Jones, chief executive of UKFast, said: "You can always rely on the guys here to throw themselves into a cause like this, and there are some incredible moustaches on show.

"It's all about growth at UKFast and the Mo bros were no exception to this."

Jones in early November challenged the rest of the channel to beat his company's fundraising efforts.

The annual global event is aimed at raising funds for men's health, including the fight against prostate and testicular cancer.

Jones said he would match the money raised by the UKFast Movember team (pictured, more or less clean-shaven).

You can also hear them talk about their moustaches, on YouTube, here.

UKFast takes part annually, usually with about 15 staff.

It also participates in other charity initiatives such as the Wear it Pink breast cancer day. Charities supported include the NSPCC, the Alzheimer's Society and Llanberis Mountain Rescue.
