C2000 means business with Samsung
Distribution behemoth set to launch next phase of growth programme with South Korean vendor
Computer 2000 is preparing to launch the next phase of its Samsung Means Business growth programme to drum up extra business for the fast-growing vendor.
First launched 12 months ago, the new phase of the programme will see Computer 2000 forward regular email and direct communications to Samsung partners, providing them with information on specific offerings and value add opportunities.
The distribution giant will also run a series of webinars and regional events in partnership with Samsung UK next year.
James Reed, director of PC systems UK and Ireland at Computer 2000, said there was a particular focus on the vendor’s range of ultrabooks and Windows 8 devices.
“Through the Samsung Means Business campaign we have placed a strong focus on the quality and performance Samsung’s products offer to SMBs in particular. As a result of that we’ve seen significant growth in our Samsung business within the PC Systems business unit over the past year.
"In this next phase of the programme, we’ll really be emphasising the excellent design features and build quality of the company’s new touch-enabled Series 5 Ultrabooks and its Series 9 notebooks, and the value they offer to customers in both the business and public sectors.”
In addition, a specific strand of the Samsung Means Business programme will focus on driving public sector sales for Samsung partners during Q1 2013.
