Redstone hails flurry of contract renewals
VAR continues its stellar end to the year with £1.5m in annuity-based contracts
Fresh on the back of its first profit posting, VAR Redstone has announced £1.5m of contract renewals.
The deals include the renewals of managed WAN services contract for a leading UK retail chain worth £660,000 over the course of the contract; a £325,000 two-year contract renewal to provide managed support for an English non-departmental public body and a £480,000 application managed service contract renewal over the next three years with a major manufacturing company.
Last week the firm celebrated its first ever profit, posting a £200,000 pre-tax profit for the first half of its fiscal 2012, although it did warn its employees they would be entering a 'period of uncertainty' as it integrates recent acquisition Maxima.
Fraser Fisher, managing director of Redstone Group Operations, said: "I am pleased to announce three significant contract renewals. This is a strong validation of our high quality service offering and the value our customers place on our service expertise. Furthermore, these contracts demonstrate our sales momentum and the growing annuity revenue base of the company."
