Northamber loses out in IBM distie rejig
CRN understands Chessington-based distributor is to be dropped from Big Blue stable as it focuses on pan-European partnerships
Northamber is to be dropped as an IBM distribution partner in the UK, CRN understands.
The move will leave Big Blue with three distributors in the region - ISI (part of SDG, which was recently acquired by Tech Data), Arrow ECS and Avnet.
Sources say the move is part of IBM's strategy to work with distributors with a pan-European presence going forward.
IBM refused to comment on the story, telling CRN it "does not comment on industry rumours or speculation".
CRN was awaiting a comment from Northamber as this article went to press.
