Intrinsic cements new CTO role
Steve Browell takes on permanent role as firm aims for £100m turnover
Intrinsic Technology has confirmed Steve Browell as its permanent chief technology officer after he took the role on an interim basis last year.
The firm is gunning for £100m turnover for its next financial year, and Browell's role will include running the service centre, meeting contractual obligations to clients, heading up the firm's professional services business and bringing new technologies on board to help strategic growth.
Prior to joining Intrinsic, Browell (pictured) was vice president of EMEA services at Insight UK and a member of the EMEA executive team. He also held a role as director of EMEA business development at security specialist Vistorm.
The appointment, part of Intrinsic’s aggressive growth strategy, follows a £600,000 investment in its 24/7 managed services division.
Adam Jarvis, chief executive of Intrinsic, said: “This is a major role within Intrinsic’s growth and development. We are committed to working with the latest and greatest technologies as well as maintaining excellent service levels, and it is important for us to have a dedicated senior manager overseeing this.
"Steve has already become a great asset to the company, helping our sales and business development teams deliver the most appropriate solutions for our customers.”
Browell added: “There is already a fantastic team in place at Intrinsic – delivering customer service excellence with a highly skilled team of engineers and consultants is at the forefront of our focus. Customer satisfaction is our goal. We are all looking forward to taking the company to the next level in terms of service provision and technological capability.”
