Lieberman and Accumuli sign European pact
Partnership follows privileged identity management win with unnamed grocery retailer
Fresh from inking their first joint customer win, privileged identity management vendor Lieberman and VAR Accumuli Security have struck up a European partnership.
The duo recently won a deal to implement Lieberman's Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM) at an unnamed "large grocery retailer".
Jess Richter, director of worldwide sales at Lieberman Software, said: "The Accumuli Security team is in the strongest possible position to grow our presence in Europe, and we are confident that this partnership will help our customers achieve the maximum benefits from their investments with us."
Lieberman's ERPM solution is designed to find every privileged account in the organisation, regularly change each account's password to a unique and complex value, and deploy the password changes wherever they are used in the datacentre.
The unnamed grocery retailer selected the pair to manage the privileged accounts on 200 network devices, including Cisco routers, FWSM firewalls, Cisco PIX firewalls, FortiGate firewalls and Blue Coat proxies.
Gavin Lyons, chief executive of Accumuli Security – a buy-and-build security VAR which turned over £6.7m in its fiscal first half to 30 September – said: "Lieberman Software's privileged identity management solutions are a complementary addition to our portfolio of security solutions. They are incredibly effective, making a difference right away, and providing a straightforward solution to a large but relatively unrecognised security hole within many organisations."
