Blue Logic to expand in Leeds after strong 2012
Networks and web services help local services and software provider build business
VAR Blue Logic Computers has announced it will add another seven staff and expand its office following a growth spurt in 2012 of 29 per cent to £3.2m.
Dave Helm, director at the Leeds-based services and software provider, indicated that further expansion is on the cards for 2013 after the company signed 64 new customers, hired 11 staff and raised revenue from £2.4m in 2012. It now has a 400-strong client list.
"We knew we had to work hard, be at the forefront of technology and stand out against our competitors. It's a credit to all the staff," Helm said. "Taking pride in delivering a first-class service to our customers is key."
Helm said two strong areas were networks and web services. He added that the company had also developed new services and offerings, including a scaleable disaster-recovery platform, all of which helped give customers more confidence to choose Blue Logic.
The VAR, which was founded in 2007 and focuses on SMBs, has also made plans to extend its Leeds headquarters at Bramley Grange, near Thorner, to accommodate the expanded team. It also has an office in Hull.
