ControlCircle rounds out management ranks

Former Star and AVG executives join managed service provider

Fast-growing managed services provider ControlCircle has enlisted a pair of senior directors to support its expansion into the cloud space.

Former RM and Star Technology Services executive Marion Stewart has joined the firm as operations director while Colin Tenwick, who has worked for the likes of AVG, Red Hat and Sybase, comes on board as chairman.

ControlCircle last year broke though the £20m-turnover barrier and chief executive Carmen Carey said the duo would bolster the Microsoft, Oracle and Citrix partner's growth strategy.

"We are delighted to have Marion and Colin join us at such a significant stage in our growth and development," she said.

"Colin's knowledge of taking organisations through stages of maturity, growth and achieving market leadership will be invaluable. Marion will be focused on all elements of customer experience including delivery, support and service, and I am confident she will successfully drive all of the operational priorities for the business."

Tenwick said: "ControlCircle has all the skills and potential to own a market that requires technical innovation and reliability combined with personal service to serve CIOs who are looking to scale with confidence.

"My experience of internet-based businesses developing growth strategies, combined with ControlCircle's unique value proposition and success to date, forms the basis of a truly exciting time ahead."
