Total Computer Networks smashes £20m after robust FY12
VAR keeps on growing after senior appointments and new contract wins
Total Computer Networks has cruised past the £20m sales mark after another year of strong growth.
The Kettering-based reseller has more than doubled in size in the past three years, having posted revenue of £9.9m during the 2009 calendar year. Since then sales have grown to £13.1m and £16.6m in subsequent years.
Accounts for the recently closed year are not due to be filed for a few months, but the top line is expected to fall somewhere near £21m, representing growth of more than 20 per cent on the prior year. The growth was attributed to a greater range of value-add services being offered, additions being made to the sales team, and a slew of new customer wins.
A number of high-profile additions were made to the Total staff roster during 2012, including Claire Oram, who arrived after seven years at Misco and was charged with expanding the VAR's product portfolio. Also joining was 10-year Equanet veteran Blaine Castle, who will lead the firm's new Manchester office, which opened in July.
Joint managing director Aidan Groom said: "We are obviously delighted with the results and it is testament to all our hard-working team and the commitment they show to our customers. This is still very much the start of the journey and we look forward to implementing further plans for growth during 2013."
