Veeam waves goodbye to UK channel manager
Stephen Macpherson confirmed his departure this week, and vendor remains tight-lipped on who will lead UK channel
Virtualisation vendor Veeam's UK and Ireland channel boss has left the firm, ChannelWeb has learned.
Stephen Macpherson, who held the position for just a year, confirmed his departure on his LinkedIn profile this week.
Before heading up the UK channel, Macpherson held the role of partner and alliances manager for nearly two years from 2010, where he joined the vendor from software firm Attachmate.
At the start of the year, Veeam announced that it almost doubled its worldwide customer base in 2012 through its global partner base of more than 16,000.
Ian Wells, director of northern EMEA for Veeam, confirmed MacPherson's departure and said further additions to the management team will be announced in due course.
"Veeam can confirm that Stephen MacPherson, who helped support Veeam's continuous growth and success, has left his position as manager of UK and Ireland channels.
"Veeam will be announcing further expansion in the UK and Ireland, including new additions to the management team," he said, adding that the firm aims to further develop relationships with partners in the future.
