CompTIA and Accredit UK unveil joint certification
Organisations complete merger and look to entice members to qualify for new AccreditUK Trustmark+ badge
CompTIA and Accredit UK have completed their merger and are welcoming the first partners in the UK to gain the joint business credential the AccreditUK Trustmark+.
The two organisations came together last year in a move that they claimed would allow them to take advantage of a wider range of accreditations and resources.
Lee Evans, chairman of the CompTIA UK Channel Community, said: “The AccreditUK Trustmark+ will improve confidence in the ICT supply chain by identifying organisations that adhere to a stringent set of industry standards.
“Companies that earn this Trustmark hold a unique and distinguished mark of quality within the ICT industry.”
Firms looking to achieve the Trustmark are evaluated on their performance and practices in areas such as organisational management, company direction, business generation, service delivery and operations and customer relations.
Jim Hamilton, vice president of member communities at CompTIA, said: “The evaluation and review process to earn this credential is a sound exercise in strengthening their business management and operations.
“Companies that have gone through this process have significantly enhanced their organisational procedures and business acumen and expanded their operational efficiencies and revenue opportunities.”
One of the first firms in the UK to achieve the joint accreditation was Avagio.
Adam Morris, managing director of Avagio, said: “We are delighted to have met the CompTIA Business Trustmark standard. We believe that maintaining this will make a significant contribution to ensuring that we consistently deliver high service quality. It also provides reassurance to both existing and potential clients of our commitment to best practice IT service delivery.”
