Varlink resellers meet their makers
More partners than ever greeted at annual York manufacturer event for resellers
Record numbers of resellers travelled to Warwick recently for the 8th annual Meet the Manufacturer event held by mobility distributor Varlink.
Mike Pullon, chief executive at Varlink, said there seemed to be more attendees this year - perhaps reflecting the growing popularity of mobile technology deployments.
"Feedback from our guests and exhibitors indicates that the event was a success. We put together mobile computing and EPoS providers looking for new products and ideas with the manufacturers that have them," Pullon said in a statement.

Relationships were sealed on the day with the likes of NEC - there to promote its partner programme - and tablet vendors such as Casio, Fujitsu, Mitac, Yuma and MioWORK. Printers and auto-ID accessories from the likes of Janam, Zebra and Psion expanded the ranges displayed even further.
Attendees could also meet staff from GeoPal and Yes Europa, providers of mobile workforce management software for Android, Systemslink 2, a supplier of leather and synthetic cases, out-of-warranty specialist PSI, telecoms supplier Yeti, and POS software provider AlfaRichi.
An awards ceremony and dinner sponsored by Psion was held afterwards at Warwick Castle.
