CRN launches new social commenting tool

From today it will be easier to share your views ChannelWeb articles

Today sees the launch of the new CRN social commenting tool to make it easier than ever for ChannelWeb readers to share their views on our news and features.

Visitors will notice a new commenting box at the end of each article, allowing them to log in via Twitter, Facebook or Google+.

However for those that prefer the old way, there is still an option to enter an email address each time you comment.

The aim is to make it easier for readers to talk with other readers and respond to their comments because they can choose to reply to a particular comment rather than just post a general remark, and they will see those conversations in a threaded message view.

There is even an option to get an RSS feed of all the comments on a particular article, or email alerts every time a new comment is posted on a story, by clicking either the 'comment feed' or 'subscribe via email' buttons at the end of each article. Readers can even change the order the comments appear if they so desire.

It will also make it easier to share comments via Facebook and Twitter, and for those with time on their hands, there is an option to create an avatar and personalise posts more.

Happy commenting! Please keep them coming - your views and thoughts are really important to us.
