Big Four confirmed at CRN event in May

Microsoft, HP, Samsung and BlackBerry will all be speaking about their mobility strategies at Partner Connect

Four of the biggest names in IT mobility – Microsoft, Samsung, HP and BlackBerry – will be speaking at the CRN Partner Connect event in Coventry next month.

Partner Connect is the only dedicated channel exhibition in the UK, and this year the event has been turned on its head to focus on technology – specifically mobility.

BlackBerry will kick off the theatre programme with an insight into the business opportunities of its latest mobile computing platform, BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10, and its BlackBerry Z10 smartphone and also an insight into its future technology plans for the space.

This is followed by HP, which will talk about its business mobility plans and its ElitePad range, and also which platform it is banking on – Windows 8, Android or both? In addition, it will reveal how HP partners can make the most of its mobility push.

Microsoft will then take to the stage to talk about Windows 8, the Surface and its mobile strategy – where the channel fits in and what its technology road map looks like for the future.

The programme is rounded off by mobility behemoth Samsung, which will be talking about how it plans to stay ahead of the market and how partners can work with it, along with a sneak peek into its technology road map.

CRN publisher Alan Loader said: “This line-up of vendor giants is the first of its kind at a channel event. Not only will they be speaking about their technology plans and how they want to work with partners, but there is the opportunity for visitors to ask questions and get face time with these executives that they have perhaps not been able to obtain in the past.

"If you are going to take any time out of the office to attend an event, I would strong urge you to attend this one.”

Aside from the technology theatre, each vendor will also have their own demonstration area at the event, allowing visitors the chance to get their hands on all the latest mobility technology, and speak to vendor executives.

The event also features a range of other vendors that tie into the mobility theme, all of which are keen to meet visitors and do business.
