European health procurement gives nod to Altodigital
HealthTrust Europe portfolio gives access to 400 healthcare contracts
Print and managed services provider Altodigital has won a spot on a 10-year HealthTrust Europe supplier framework, moving it up the preferred VAR list for up to 400 contracts.
According to Altodigital, it was chosen 90 per cent for its technical ability, especially in the healthcare vertical, and 10 per cent on pricing.
Gavan Duffy, public sector contract manager at Altodigital, said this made the reseller a preferred supplier for managed document solutions (MDS) deals at NHS trusts around the UK.
"It is testament to our many years of outstanding work in the healthcare sector, which is an extremely complex and specialist environment in which to operate," Duffy enthused. "This move really puts us at the forefront of the MDS market, and broadens our expertise not only in healthcare, but also in the wider public sector."
Access to this "huge new market" of some 400 potential contracts was the result of an 18-month application process, Duffy added. Around 40 UK NHS trusts tender through this framework, which is run in conjunction with the NHS-based London Procurement Partnership.
HealthTrust Europe, owned by the US-headquartered HealthTrust Purchasing Group, covers public and private sector deals across Europe and the UK and has offices in London and Birmingham.
