Emma de Sousa to reclaim UK reins in Insight EMEA rejig

James Baker and Justin Griffiths get new responsibilities as EMEA cloud boss Mark Green departs

Emma de Sousa is to resume her role as UK boss of Insight, with James Baker and Justin Griffiths also taking on new responsibilities in an EMEA reshuffle of the distributor's exec line-up.

De Sousa (pictured) will return from maternity leave to retake the reins of the reseller's UK operation during 2013's third quarter, at which point Justin Griffiths will return to his post as EMEA vice president of partner management.

EMEA president Stuart Fenton said: "Justin has successfully led his team through some challenging times in the UK market, driving significant change in the organisation and improving the overall efficiency of the firm."

Meanwhile, James Baker will be heading up Insight's cloud and web teams. This follows the departure of EMEA e-commerce and cloud director Mark Green after three years with the company. Baker will also retain responsibility for software partner management.

"The online and cloud elements of our business are the fastest growth areas for Insight," said Baker. "I am excited to take over these in order to focus on delivering key online service differentiators in all our markets across EMEA."
