Intrinsic and Logicalis tie up Welsh public sector framework
VAR duo awarded places on framework which could eventually include all local councils in Wales
Intrinsic Technology and Logicalis have won a place on an ICT framework which could eventually include all Welsh councils.
The framework will initially serve Flintshire County Council and neighbouring authorities Denbighshire and Wrexham and will see the resellers supply them with a range of support and networking services.
The VARs claim that the framework will mean Welsh public sector organisations can gain quick access to their wares and avoid lengthy procurement procedures.
North Wales Police, Fire Service and Betsi Cadwaladr University Local Health Board will have access to products via the framework, which could eventually be rolled out to all 22 Welsh local councils.
Intrinsic claims that winning a place on the framework demonstrates its commitment to the Welsh public sector.
Its chief executive Adam Jarvis said: "It's a great accomplishment to have won a place on this much-sought-after framework. As a business we are going from strength to strength in terms of both technical skill and revenue.
"This win clearly demonstrates our continued progress and ongoing commitment to our considerable Welsh customer base."
