Azzurri snaps up £1m managed services contract
Comms VAR takes its cloud platform to Cintas Document Management in five-year deal
Azzurri has bagged a seven-figure, five-year deal with Cintas Document Management (CDM).
Under the terms of the deal, worth just over £1m, the comms integrator will supply CDM with WAN and managed security services across the Cincinnati-headquartered firm's 10 UK sites.
Cintas' document management arm provides businesses with a range of document storage and management products and operates as part of the Cintas brand, which chalked up sales of $4.1bn (£2.64bn) in its fiscal 2012 and employs 30,000 staff globally.
CDM claimed its strong focus on security and business continuity prompted its decision to sign up Azzurri, following what it claims was a competitive tender process.
Azzurri will implement its Intelligent Cloud-Optimised Network (ICON) product to CDM which it reckons will provide CDM staff with personalised views of network status, performance and reporting.
The integrator's chief executive Vim Vithaldas said its ICON product made Azzurri stand out from its competition and can be developed further in customers' businesses.
"Our ICON platform is a key differentiator for Azzurri and is continuing to attract new customers," he added.
"And what is really exciting is the new cloud-based services we are bringing to market that plug into ICON, such as NMAP [Network Management and Application Performance], which allows both Azzurri and our customers to monitor SLAs according to business outcomes, not just technical aspects."
Earlier this year, Vithaldas claimed a sense of "stability and momentum" has returned to the business following the implementation of a three-year plan which saw it hit its quarterly targets for the first time in about four years.
