Prodec caped crusader swoops in at IFSEC

Netman seen for real at tech show helping to catch robbers

Netman, Prodec Networks' very own crime-fighting superhero, stepped off the comic-book pages to make a personal appearance at the IFSEC tech expo this week.

This is the second actual sighting of Netman in the flesh (pictured) proving – we assume – that the caped crusader exists outside the fevered imaginations of Prodec Networks' marketing and management team.

Russell Barley, managing director of Prodec Networks, said Netman is helping the reseller showcase its security offerings at the commercial and government security tech show at the NEC in Birmingham.

"Netman was so popular and created such a stir at Unified Comms Expo 2013 we decided to bring him along to IFSEC International as well," Barley said. "Netman enables companies to do things they didn't know were possible."

Mobile data connectivity will be a key part of the solution for many businesses promoted on the IFSEC stand, said Barley.

Comic books starring Netman will also be available, Prodec said.

Attendees will be able to meet Netman and have their picture taken with him, even getting an autograph if they are lucky. And if they upload the picture to Twitter, they will be entered into a prize draw to win a Bonded 3G box for 12 months, according to the Reading voice-and-data company's PR.
