C4L cements channel commitment with partner programme
Datacentre specialist looking to the top 100 resellers in the UK to expand its channel business
Datacentre specialist C4L is eyeing up the top 100 resellers in the UK to join its newly formed partner programme.
In the coming months, the firm wants to double the percentage of its UK business transacted through the channel from 25 to 50 per cent with the help of a wave of new resellers.
The vendor celebrated its expansion with a £3.8m datacentre facility in Milton Keynes earlier this year, and is now set to formalise its approach to the channel.
C4L, which used CRN's Partner Connect event to launch its Partner Network, will offer its existing 500-strong team of resellers – as well as new recruits – a new, dedicated website as well as enhanced technical, sales and marketing support.
Partners, which are organised into three tiers on the programme, will also have access to discount incentives on certain products and referrals.
The vendor claims to be aiming at customers working in all verticals, but said it had a sweet spot in the media segment.
The firm's chief executive Simon Mewett said his firm is on the up.
"We started in 2000 and we have grown year on year. In the past three years we have grown 850 per cent," he added.
"We now have 60 staff and a London and Bournemouth office and we are branching out – shortly we will be a real global player."
