Irish VAR Integrity ups UK ante

Dublin-based security reseller to open third office on this side of Irish Sea

Ireland-based security VAR Integrity Solutions is opening a third UK office after its first year in Blighty saw it generate £2m in sales here.

After touching down in the UK in April 2012, the Dublin-based Check Point, Fortinet and F5 partner has now amassed 30 mid-enterprise customers on this side of the Irish channel.

UK country manager Mark Evans said Integrity has the budget to take on five more staff in the UK this year. A Birmingham outpost will open in the summer, adding to its existing offices in London and Glasgow.

Some 40 per cent of UK turnover came from Integrity's own professional services and managed services, the latter being delivered from its secure operations centre in Sandyford, Dublin, Evans said.

"This is our first full year of trading in anger in the UK," he said. "Previously we had five or six customers in the UK who were not doing a great deal. They are still transacted from the Irish P&L so all this [revenue] is brand new."

Evans said Integrity is aiming to grow UK sales by 20 per cent in its second year of trading on the back of the launch of a new SIEM [security and information event management] service based on its own proprietary technology.

"It will help customers deal with compliance and reduce the overhead of technical requirements in-house," he said.
