Paul Brewer pops up at Damovo

Former Datapoint man appointed as sales director of Damovo Global Services

Former Datapoint and BT executive Paul Brewer has taken on a new role at comms VAR Damovo.

The comms industry veteran has been appointed as sales director of Damovo's Global Services arm, which provides managed services to multinational companies.

Brewer (pictured) has served stints at some of the comms channel's leading names including BT Global Services and Datapoint, most recently holding the post of sales and marketing director of comms provider Worldstone.

Damovo Global Services managing director Mary Bradshaw said Brewer's pedigree in growing international business made him the ideal choice for the newly created role.

"We have very ambitious plans for Damovo Global Services and Paul's ability to develop strong propositions, motivate teams and deliver consistent revenue growth will play a very significant role in helping us to achieve our business objectives," she said.

Brewer's arrival is not the only management change at Damovo in recent weeks, with UK managing director Simon Payne recently appointed as combined managing director of UK and Ireland following the departure of Irish boss Maria O'Reilly.
