Office specialist lays on April sales conference in Thailand

The office products reseller is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and took 38 top sales staff and their managers to the conference, visiting Bangkok as well as the famous resort island of Phuket.

At home, CCS Media managed a record-breaking performance in April, with sales up 20 per cent year on year. Fittingly, it was the most successful April in the firm's 30 years of trading, the company said.

The Chesterfield-headquartered company has been growing fast over the past few years.

Terry Betts, managing director of CCS Media, said: "Even though 38 of our top sales staff were out of the business, we performed amazingly well. In fact, 2013 has been a smashing year so far; our figures for the first four months show a year-on-year increase of 16 per cent.

"A happy, satisfied workforce is the key to success and our performance just proves that investing in our staff helps us grow. We are on track to achieving our target of £96m this year."
