Cameron takes helm at TSG North West

Firm is keen to expand across the region with new chief Dave Cameron

VAR Technology Services Group (TSG) has signed a new North West managing director to push growth in the region.

Dave Cameron (pictured), a former Royal Navy engineer, has had a varied career, having bought and sold children’s day nurseries and held international director roles in the pharmaceutical sector.

In a statement, he said: “My background is diverse but the common theme in all my previous roles is customer focus; something that is critical to the success of TSG.

"I understand the stress and heartache that comes with being a business owner. Equally, I understand the need for strategic planning in large companies. Our team at TSG has the experience and knowledge to support both and everyone in between as we aim to be the primary supplier of IT solutions in the North West."

With expertise across all areas of technology, Cameron said TSG was well placed to provide independent advice, guidance and insights.

"It is not unusual for me to attend a company's board meetings to talk to directors about the IT industry and how future changes might affect their business,” he said. "Having such a comprehensive offering from telephony and infrastructure to the full range of business management applications puts us in a position to understand the objectives of our customers and match the solution to the requirement rather than sell something because it’s what we sell. It’s an unbiased view that is really appreciated.
