Enta goes for Intel launch sales with Gigabyte

New processors bundled with motherboard

Entatech is offering a Gigabyte bundle with a view to taking advantage of the buzz around Intel's new Core i5 and i7 processors.

Pete Mulvihill, software and commodities channel manager at Enta, said the company's Intel relationship has gone from strength to strength.

"We have had a tremendous response from the resellers, which I am confident will continue with the launch of the fourth-generation processor," he said in a PR statement.

The new 22nm processors have been designed and built for additional power, according to Enta, which is selling the fourth-generation Core i5 processor with a Z87-D3HP motherboard for a reduced price.

According to Intel, the vector-processing performance will double, sequential CPU performance rise 10 per cent, and integrated GPU performance double.
